Chipolbrok successfully delivered 251 sets of wind power equipment, with a total volume of 1.41 million cubic meters, for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM Green Hydrogen Project. After two years and 41 voyages, this maritime campaign approached a successful conclusion, with the equipment bound for the Red Sea to support the construction of the world’s largest green hydrogen plant.
The project stands as a milestone for Chipolbrok in the field of wind power cargo transportation, involving the greatest number of voyages, the longest timeline, and the largest cargo volume since the company’s founding. Over two years, the project team showed exceptional resilience and teamwork, navigating complex challenges in coordination, technical requirements, and cross-border logistics. All efforts ensured a safe, efficient, and reliable delivery that earned strong recognition from the client.

Through a combination of infrastructure investment, new programmes and customer engagement at London Gateway and Southampton, DP World are delivering practical and measurable reductions at their UK ports.

EWA Group is delivering a complex 1.1 GW wind energy project in Ras Shoukeir through an integrated, innovative, and safety-focused logistics approach. Advanced tools such as QLX Smarttrass, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads were used for detailed route surveys and continuous optimization. Rigorous equipment maintenance ensures reliability across heavy lifting and transport operations, while EWA also manages shipping agency services for Chipolbrok vessels, coordinating port, discharge, and inland delivery.
The scope includes complex double handling and heavy lifting, executed with specialized equipment and experienced teams to maintain precision and cargo integrity. Transportation is performed using EWA’s dedicated fleet.
Ongoing road renovations have required daily development of alternative bypasses, demanding flexibility and real-time coordination. HSE remains central, with strict safety protocols and continuous risk assessment.
The project supports Egypt’s renewable energy goals, enhancing electricity generation and energy security. EWA has successfully completed around 50% of the project to date.

Les Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion is a pioneering offshore wind farm in the Mediterranean Sea, featuring three floating wind turbines with a total capacity of 30 MW. Located in one of France’s most wind-rich regions, the project advances national and EU renewable energy objectives and strengthens France’s leadership in floating wind technology.
Eiffage Métal fabricated 2,500-ton triangular steel platforms, while GEODIS managed the complex logistics required to launch these structures at the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille. Using a semi-submersible barge, GEODIS safely and efficiently transported and floated the platforms, overcoming unique engineering and weather challenges through meticulous planning and advanced technical solutions.
The project was delivered safely, on schedule, and with close coordination among all partners. GEODIS worked with Eiffage Métal, port authorities, marine experts, and local stakeholders to maintain the highest health, safety, and environmental standards, minimizing carbon impact wherever possible.
This achievement highlights the importance of collaboration, technical expertise, and a commitment to sustainability in developing large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, setting new benchmarks for innovation and environmental stewardship in the logistics and energy sectors.
